Nature of This Site and Information Provided
2.1 Public Records Aggregation
AllRecentArrests.org is a public records information aggregator that compiles and displays arrest records, booking information, mugshots, and related data sourced from publicly available government databases, law enforcement agencies, county sheriff offices, and other official public records repositories across the United States. The Site does not generate, create, or independently verify any of the records displayed.
2.2 Not a Consumer Reporting Agency
AllRecentArrests.org IS NOT A CONSUMER REPORTING AGENCY ("CRA") as defined under the Fair Credit Reporting Act ("FCRA"), 15 U.S.C. §§ 1681 et seq. The information available on this Site does not constitute a "consumer report" as defined by the FCRA. The additional legal protections afforded to consumers under the FCRA DO NOT apply to the information provided through this Site.
You expressly acknowledge and agree that you may NOT use any information obtained from this Site for any purpose governed by the FCRA, including but not limited to:
- Employment screening, hiring decisions, promotions, demotions, reassignment, or termination of any employee or prospective employee
- Screening of household workers, including babysitters, nannies, domestic staff, caregivers, gardeners, or contractors

- Assessing eligibility for licenses or government-granted benefits requiring financial responsibility review
- Any other purpose governed by FCRA (see 15 U.S.C. § 1681b, subsections (a)(3)–(a)(6))
Violation of this prohibition may expose you to significant civil and criminal liability under federal law.
2.3 Third-Party Affiliate Links — TruthFinder and Similar Services
This Site may promote and display affiliate links to third-party background check services, including but not limited to TruthFinder (truthfinder.com). These services operate under their own separate terms of use, privacy policies, and legal frameworks. We may receive compensation when you access or register with these services through links on our Site.
Your use of any third-party service is entirely at your own risk and governed exclusively by that service's terms. We make no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or legality of any information provided by third-party services. Please review the terms and privacy policy of any third-party service before using it.
Third-party services such as TruthFinder may have different permitted and prohibited uses, data accuracy standards, and legal obligations than this Site. Users accessing such services for employment screening or other FCRA-regulated purposes must comply with the specific requirements of those platforms and applicable federal law.

Accuracy, Completeness, and Currency of Information
You expressly acknowledge and understand the following critical limitations:
- AN ARREST DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A CONVICTION. An arrest record reflects only that a person was arrested, not that they are guilty of any crime. Charges may have been dropped, dismissed, reduced, or result in acquittal.
- Records on this Site may not reflect subsequent case dispositions, expungements, sealing of records, or other changes in legal status.
- Information may be inaccurate, incomplete, out-of-date, or may contain errors originating from the source agency.
- The absence of a record on this Site does not mean a person has no arrest history.
- Records pertaining to minors, sealed cases, or expunged matters are generally excluded but cannot be completely guaranteed absent.
You should never rely solely on information from this Site for any important decision. Always verify information through official government sources and consult qualified legal counsel where appropriate.
Expungements, Sealed Records, and Removal Requests
5.1 Legal Obligations
We respect individuals' legal rights regarding expunged or sealed records. If a court has ordered that your arrest record be expunged or sealed pursuant to applicable state or federal law, you may submit a removal request along with supporting documentation.
5.2 Removal Request Process
To request removal of a record, submit a written request to our designated contact address along with: (a) a valid government-issued photo ID, (b) a copy of the relevant court order for expungement or sealing, and (c) sufficient information to identify the specific record at issue. We will process removal requests within a commercially reasonable timeframe, generally within 30 business days of receiving a complete request.
Submission of a removal request does not guarantee removal. We reserve the right to evaluate each request on its merits and in accordance with applicable law. Removal from this Site does not affect the existence of such record in official government databases or with original reporting agencies.
5.3 No General Right of Removal
The display of publicly available arrest records on this Site is protected activity under the First Amendment to the United States Constitution and applicable state laws protecting access to public records. There is no general legal right to have accurate, lawfully obtained public records removed absent a valid court order for expungement or sealing, or other specific legal entitlement.

We do not sell your personal information to unaffiliated third parties for their own marketing purposes. We may share information with service providers, business partners, and as required by law or legal process. California residents may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). Residents of other states may have additional rights under applicable state privacy laws. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for further information about your rights and how to exercise them.
Compliance with State Laws — Special Notices
Arrest record laws vary significantly by state. Users are solely responsible for understanding and complying with all applicable state and local laws governing access to and use of arrest records. The following states, among others, have enacted laws restricting the publication, display, or use of mugshots or arrest records:
- Georgia (O.C.G.A. § 35-1-18): Restricts certain commercial uses of booking photographs.
- California: Has enacted laws addressing removal of arrest records following certain case dispositions.
- Texas: Imposes requirements on persons publishing mugshots for compensation.
- Illinois, Utah, Virginia, and others have enacted or are actively considering similar legislation.
This is not an exhaustive list. Users from all states must independently verify the laws applicable to their use of publicly available arrest information. We make no representation that use of this Site is lawful in all jurisdictions.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless AllRecentArrests.org, its operators, officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, and service providers from and against any and all claims, damages, judgments, awards, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your use of or access to the Site; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any applicable law or regulation; (d) your violation of any rights of any third party; or (e) any content you submit, post, or transmit through the Site.

You must independently review and comply with the terms of use and privacy policies of any third-party service you access.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
13.1 Governing Law
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of this Site shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the applicable state law of the state in which the Site's principal operators are domiciled, without regard to conflict of law principles.
13.2 Binding Arbitration
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY — THIS AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS. Except for claims that may be brought in small claims court, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be resolved by binding individual arbitration under the AAA Consumer Arbitration Rules. You and we waive any right to a jury trial and to participate in class action lawsuits.
The arbitration shall be conducted on an individual basis. You and we expressly waive any right to bring any claim as a class, consolidated, or representative action. This class action waiver is a material term of these Terms; if found unenforceable, the arbitration clause shall be null and void in its entirety.
13.3 Exceptions
Notwithstanding the foregoing, either party may seek emergency injunctive or equitable relief from a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent actual or threatened infringement, misappropriation, or violation of intellectual property rights, or to prevent irreparable harm.
Children's Privacy
This Site is not intended for, directed to, or designed to attract children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you are under 18, you are not permitted to use this Site. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 18, we will take prompt steps to delete such information.
Furthermore, this Site does not knowingly display arrest records for individuals who were minors at the time of arrest. However, we cannot guarantee the complete absence of such records given the nature of our aggregated third-party data sources. If you discover a record for a minor on this Site, please contact us immediately.
